Mid century Silver Rim Mad Men Glass Sugar Creamer Set - Polka Dot w/ Wide Band - 2 Pc Glass Vintage Retro Sugar and Creamer in Holder
Very mid century Dorothy Thorpe hand blown glass sugar and creamer with a wide silver band at the top of each crystal piece. This set was never used and comes in the original gift box - see photos. The sugar and creamer both have a 1/2" wide silver band at the top. Both are covered in silver polka dots. The creamer differs in that it has a small spout in one place. The sugar and creamer sit in a silver metal holder that has a loop handle for easy grabbing on the top. There are 4 small silver metal ball feet on the bottom and the same silver metal balls on each corner to hold the sugar and creamers inside their spots.
Nice mod shape to both of these glass pieces that sit inside a silver metal holder - all in a very mad men style!
Sugar bowl measures 3 1/2" high. Top opening is 3 1/2" in diameter
Creamer measures 3 1/2" high. Top opening is 3 1/2" in diameter - section with spout goes out about 1/4" more.
Together in the holder - height 7", 7" wide, deep 3 1/2"
In nice vintage condition with very slight wear from storage that is commensurate with an item that is circa 1950s or 1960s.
