Vintage Glass Jar w/ Etched Purple Flash Lid - Pressed Glass Pedestal Base Candy Jar or Dish - Retro Home Decor
A unique and adorable vintage etched pressed glass pedestal Candy Dish with a lid. The lid is a light purple or deep mauve color and has etched flowers and leaves around it. The etching is a six-petaled flower with branches and leaves that are on either side - a couple of leaves are also just below the flower.
There are some raised lines all around the lid, and matching lines all around the clear glass cone shaped bowl section. What makes this retro lidded jar unique is the shape - it is a cone shaped bottom with a round base. The lid has a knob that is clear glass. The clear glass section of the bowl and the base have three seams in them while the lid has no seams.
This candy or storage jar has a sort of Art Deco feel due to this unique shape.

This candy jar or dish with a lid measures 7 1/2" high to the top of the knob on the lid. The top opening is 5 1/4" in diameter. The base has a 3 1/4" diameter.
This etched glass pedestal candy jar with lid is in nice vintage condition with some wear to the purple colored flash on the lid - see photos for detail. No chips or cracks.
