Vintage Green Glass Center Handle Tray w/ Hand Painted Flower - Retro Depression Pressed Glass Sandwich Serving Dish Circa 1940s
A vintage clear and green glass Serving Dish with a clear glass handle and a unique and wonderfully bold emerald green base to the handle section. The sides of the tray (main section) are a very pale green. There is a hand painted pink, yellow and green flower and matching pink flower bud on along one edge of this serving piece.
This piece is a depression glass is circa 1940s. It has an angular shaped clear glass handle with a curved top on the loop of the handle and some glass "beads" on the loop. At the base of the emerald green section there is a raised design all around it.
The tray portion that is the pale green, is eight sided with rounded edges to the sides - there are smooth edges to the octogan shape.
This retro glass serving or sandwich tray is approx. 11" in diameter. With the handle, it is about 4" tall.
In nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks. The underside that has the pale green on it and the hand painted flower have some light wear commensurate with vintage/antique age. See photos for detail.
Quite a lovely and unique serving green glass dish or tidbit tray.
