A retro Waechtersbach Spain dark Blue Pottery Teapot Tea Pot With Lid. It has a great shape and a very distinct knob on the lid as well as a pronounced handle. This is a dark navy blue color. The company called this color Cobalt Blue. This particular teapot was in production from 1992 and discontinued a few years later. This line of china was Crafted in Spain, West Germany, and Germany and came in a variety of colors - red, blue, yellow, gray, light blue and this darker blue.

Measures 9" across from tip of spout to end of handle. It is 7 1/4" tall to the top of the knob on the lid. The body of the teapot is 4 7/8" tall.

This teapot holds 5 cups.

In nice vintage condition with barely any wear. No chips or cracks - still looks wonderful!
