Vintage Long Pearl Necklace w/ Sterling Silver Clasp - 21 1/2" Necklace - 6 mm Pearl Single Strand Matinee Length Hand Knotted Classic
Wonderful vintage genuine pearl necklace featuring a single strand of off-white or ivory colored 6 mm sized pearls. The necklace is 21 1/2" long or Matinee Length and is circa mid-century in age.
The retro pearl strand features all individually hand knotted pearls on silk thread. This strand is from my mother's collection - she always thought pearls were the quintessential accessory.
The fish hook closure is Sterling Silver. In all there are 79 pearls on this single strand retro necklace. This sterling silver clasp has a bit of decorative edging and opens and closes securely. The clasp and necklace ends are marked 925 for Sterling Silver.
