Vintage Ornate Sterling Silver 5 Amethysts & Marcasite 925 Sterling Silver Ring w/ Shield Design - Retro Jewelry Purple Gem Stone Hallmarked
Vintage Sterling Silver (Marked 925) Amethyst and Marcasite ring with an ornate setting that looks like a shield shape with a central oval amethyst and 4 smaller amethysts at the top, bottom and sides. The central faceted amethyst is set inside what looks like an "X" shape and has some depth - see photo #3 - as it is set higher than the rest of the stones.
The four square shaped faceted genuine amethyst stones are smaller and are set between the "X" shape to accent it. The design on the face of this vintage ring is studded with 16 marcasite stones in total.
The setting of this vintage ring is wide, tall and is very eye-catching.
