Sorry, this item has sold.

A lovely pressed glass pedestal dish with a lid. This is a six-sided glass piece with 12 pictures on the paneled sides - two on each panel. The pictures are of working men - cobbler, blacksmith, fisherman, farmer, baker, miller, and more. Around each of the pictured workers is frame of diagonal lines.

The top, the knob on the lid, the center dish section, wafer on the stem and the base all have six sides. The top has no pictures on it and is clear amber glass.

Measures 9" high with the lid on - to the top of the knob on the lid. It is 5" high without the lid on. The top opening has a 6" distance across. The base has a 4" distance across.

This retro candy box with a lid is quite hefty, weighing in at over 3 lbs. before packaging for shipment. This pedestal bowl with the lid looks very much like pieces made by Tiara Glass Co. and is similar to their Colonial Amber candy dishes.

In nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Very light wear commensurate with vintage age.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Do we answer questions about the value or “worth” of items?

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them. Therefore, there is no way to assign something a set monetary value - in our opinion. We suggest doing an online search to find similar items and take it from there.
