Vintage Amethyst Glass Jar w/ Lid - Retro Home Decor Purple Pressed Glass - Possible Hobstar Pattern / Amethyst Glass Jar w/ Lid
Wonderful amethyst glass jar with a lid in a very dark, dark amethyst color. On first glance this jar looks like it is black in color, but it is a very dark purple. This lidded jar has a design that features a swirl on the outer portion of a circle shape. Inside the circle shape there are squares. There are lots of additional designs around this main style. The top has a faceted knob on the lid. The rim of the jar has a scalloped edge that has little beaded shapes all around it.
Measures approx. 6" tall to the top of the knob on the lid. The top opening of the jar bottom has a 4 1/4" diameter.
In nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Wear commensurate with vintage age.
