Vintage Cobalt Blue Art Glass Jar w/ Lid - Round Dark Blue Cased Glass Round Decorative Knob on Lid - Retro Home Decor
Large beautiful dark blue and clear glass round jar with a lid. The shape of the jar is short and wider at the top opening. The lid is rather large - half of the height of this great home decor item equals that of the base. (They are both about 5" high.)
The lid has a knob on top with an elongated clear glass oval shape that is quite prominent at 2 1/2" long. This circa 1970s glass jar is made of hand blown glass and has tiny air bubbles here and there typical of hand blown items. The cobalt blue color really makes this short but wide jar stand out.
The bottom has three small feet that are also made if clear glass. The three pedestal feet curl inward giving them a great free-form look.
Circa mid century home decor piece.
Measures approx. 10" high with the lid on. The base section alone is 5" high. The top opening has a 6 1/4" diameter.
In nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks.
