A large and statuesque owl statue that is made of chalkware. The owl is an off-white or ivory color and has dark eyes and a black beak. The bird sits on a brown branch. The base of this retro statue is square and is in shades of tan and brown. There is a nice bit of texture on this vintage statue - the feathers and the feet in particular. The owl's head is slightly turned so that it is looking somewhat to the side, not straight on. This large and hefty owl statue is circa mid century when chalkware statues were quite popular. A wise gift item for a nature lover!
The owl has 4 white felt pads on the underside to protect the surface it sits on from scratching.
Measures 14" tall. At its widest point, the owl is approx. 6" across. The 4 sides of the base are 5 1/4" long each.
This wise old owl is rather hefty weighing in at 5 1/2 lbs. before packaging for shipment.
In nice vintage condition with light wear as would be expected a vintage piece of mid century chalkware - see photos for detail.

Shipping large or oversized items to certain addresses (such as the DPO or APO) may not always be possible due to price. Please convo us before making your purchase if you would like your item to be shipped to a US Military base. It may require an additional charge.
Items over $45 may be shipped with Signature Confirmation in order to ensure that you receive your item.
Customs Fees or Duties may be applicable in your country - we are not privy to, or responsible for, any Duties or Fees associated with delivery of your item.
**We do not ship glass or delicate china/porcelain or Chalkware items via USPS Parcel Ground Select. The USPS notes this about Parcel Ground Select, "combined with a longer transit time, the shipment will be bounced, jolted, handled and thrown around more than shipments that are sent through any of the air services offered by the USPS." Due to this information, we do NOT ship glass items via this method.

If your item arrives broken, we will refund your total purchase upon upon receipt of a few photos of the damaged item and the packaging within three (3) days of delivery.
When returning undamaged items, the buyer pays shipping both ways for item returns.
If you would like a partial refund if a portion of your order is damaged, send a good photo of the damaged item and we can work out a resolution that is satisfactory for both of us.
If you are unhappy with any purchase, you may return your item within fourteen (14) days at your expense for a refund of the purchase price (not including shipping either way - we will not refund the shipping portion of the cost paid when originally purchased). We strive to describe our items in detail and take good descriptive photos as well so that our buyers know what they are purchasing.

We do our research on our items as much as we can and strive to be accurate when describing and photographing our items. We also pack our items with great care, but we understand that sometimes items don't "travel well".

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them. Therefore, there is no way to assign something a set monetary value - in our opinion. We suggest doing an online search to find similar items and take it from there.
