Mid century 4 Pc Cocktail Set Federal Glass Co. Rocks Roly Poly Glasses & Lipt Mixer in Box - Mad Men Era

Sorry, this item has sold.

A four piece cocktail set made by the Federal Glass Company. It consists of three roly poly rocks glasses and one serving pitcher that is referred to as a Lipt Mixer.

The rocks glasses hold 11 oz. The Lipt Mixer holds 34 oz.

The set of four comes in the original box - the set is missing one rocks glass. The box says 5 PC set but at this time it is a 4 PC set as one glass is missing.

While the box says the pitcher is a Lipt Mixer, I have no idea what that is. It is a cocktail pitcher with a spout, bulbous base and no handles.

This set was made by the Federal Glass Company, a company that was in business from 1900 until 1980. The company was located in Columbus Ohio and began operations making salt and pepper shakers, goblets, measuring cups, and jars for processed foods.

The set is in nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks and very little wear. Looks like it has been stored in the box for several years. The box is faded and worn commensurate with its vintage age.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Do we answer questions about the value or “worth” of items?

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them. Therefore, there is no way to assign something a set monetary value - in our opinion. We suggest doing an online search to find similar items and take it from there.
