Vintage Silver Toned Lined Trinket or Jewelry Box - Ornate Pedestal Legs - Shabby Chic Bedroom & Bathroom Decor - Lion Head Legs w/ Crest
Sweet silver toned trinket or jewelry box with a hinged lid. Lined in maroon velvet on the inside. When turned over, the underside has a matching maroon oval covering as well. When the lid is opened, there is a pattern of scrolling shapes all over it.
The four pedestal legs are decorative lion heads and lion paws. This trinket or jewelry box is heavy and has a crest featuring a lion in the center of a shield on the lid. On the top of the crest is a flag that has a winged bird. There is great detail on the lid edge and on the sides. .
While this wonderful mid century trinket box is unmarked, I believe it is silver plated.
Measures 6" by 5" and is about 2 7/8" high.
In nice vintage condition with some wear marks and dark spots on the front. Great mid century piece for your grooming table, bedroom, bathroom or dresser.
