Sorry, this item has sold.

Eye-catching 1950s-60s vintage table lighter which was was mostly likely fashionable in the MAD MEN Era - the very mid century.

This retro and kitschy lighter is made of a brass / gold colored metal and a brown faux leather fabric. It has four round ball legs in the bottom that it stands on. There is some decorative embossed design on the top and there are some round brass studs to accent the leather-like nose section of this mid century piece. The lighter is in the shape of a bellows - a tool used to blow air on a fire to make it burn harder.

To light the lighter, you squeeze the two handles on the bellows together. This makes the little round section that has the wick to pop open. This is where the flame we would be. There is no fluid in the lighter and it appears to be in an unused condition.

The bellows lighter measures 7" long and is 3" across at widest part. It stands on its 4 small round feet approx. 2" high.

This unique lighter is marked JAPAN on the underside of the handle.

This retro and collectible lighter is in great vintage condition (and would appear to never have been used).

    Frequently Asked Questions

Do we answer questions about the value or “worth” of items?

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them. Therefore, there is no way to assign something a set monetary value - in our opinion. We suggest doing an online search to find similar items and take it from there.
