Striking large amber and brown hand blown art glass bowl or centerpiece. The edges of this crinkle glass feature brown glass swirls on an amber glass background. The center of the bowl is clear amber crinkle glass. This mod home decor item has a round shape and a pontil on the bottom typical of hand blown glass. The wide rim is distinctive on this bowl and extends for about 3" all around.
Great mix of amber and brown color and a low round shape make this retro mid century modern hand blown glass bowl scream for your attention.
The vintage art glass centerpiece is 13" in diameter. It is 3 1/4" high.
It is rather heavy weighing in at nearly 4 lbs. before packaging for shipment.
This mid century modern bowl or centerpiece is in great vintage condition with no chips or cracks with wear commensurate with vintage age - late mid century. There is a scratch on the bottom near the pontil that is approximately an 1" long - see photos for detail. Some some small air bubbles that occur during manufacture that are typical of hand blown glass.
