Poodle by GLIDDEN Mid Century Handled Serving Dish Tray 1950s - Ceramic Serving Dish w/ Handle 025

Sorry, this item has sold.

A rare Glidden Poodle pattern serving dish or tray with a handle on one of the sides. The tray part is a 7 1/2" square and the handle piece has three ridges or grips on. It has a slight curved shape to it. In the center of the off-white ceramic serving dish/tray is a black poodle, very typical of the mid century. The poodle has a round red nose, a green eye and what looks like a light blue and yellow mouth. One of the poodles front paws is up. The back of this vintage Glidden Poodle pattern piece is hallmarked GLIDDEN in cursive and it also has the numbers 025.

Measures 14" long and is 7 1/2" wide at the widest part. (The handle section is 6" long alone.) This retro serving piece is 1 1/2" high.

In nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Light wear as would be expected an item from the 1950s - see photos for detail.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Do we answer questions about the value or “worth” of items?

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them. Therefore, there is no way to assign something a set monetary value - in our opinion. We suggest doing an online search to find similar items and take it from there.
