Vintage 14K Gold Filled Oval Locket w/ Etched Heart - Petite Pendant Child Sweetheart Locket Pendant
An adorable 12K gold filled etched oval locket on a fine 14K gold filled chain. The front of the locket has an etched heart with two springs of leaves above and below it. The back is plain. The bale has a few decorative ridges on it. Inside the photo locket, there are spaces for 2 small photos - one on each side. The locket is about 1/2" long without the bale and 7/8" long with the bale.
The chain is made up of small oval links. It is adjustable so that it can be 15" in length or 13" long. (It has an extra loop and spring ring clasp that can be used to shorten this chain by 2" for a child who may need a smaller chain length.)
This locket is circa 1960s.
The locket closes with a snap. The spring ring clasp opens and closes securely.
The locket is marked 1/20 12K. The spring ring clasp is also marked 1/20 14K GF.
This sweet heart locket would be a perfect gift for a young lady - dainty and feminine.
The fine link 14K gold filled chain measures 15" in length and can be shortened by 2".
Weighs 2.6 grams.
