Vintage Aquarius Wall Art Old Forge Dated 1965 Original Package - Large Mid Century Retro Zodiac Sign by Atkinson Aluminum Kitsch Home Decor
When it was the dawning of the age of Aquarius, this vintage cast aluminum wall hanging was made by the Old Century Forge Company of Montague, Michigan. Still in the original box with the original tag, this metal Zodiac Sign is very colorful. This sign represents the water bearer and people born from January 21 to February 18 fall under this sign.
This water bearer is holding a mustard brown water jug that has turquoise colored water flowing from it. He wears a green cape and red toga. His hair is dark - a combo of black and brown. There is a piece with a hole in it on the back for hanging on a nail.
(The little booklet that is attached has the qualities of the different signs. As I am an Aquarius, I liked most of them except for the last part that says Aquarians can be careless and make the same mistake over and over. Hmm.)
Measures 12" high x 11" wide. This vintage piece is about 1/3" in thickness.
The back has the embossed markings, " ORIGINAL BY ATKINSON, OLD CENTURY FORGE INC, MONTAGUE MICH, C 1965, AQUARIUS, JAN 21 - FEB 19" The back of this sign is a light mustard brown color.
In excellent vintage condition with no issues. In the original box with a product tag included.
