NOTE: this info is taken from the McCoy Company website - “Throughout its almost 100 years of existence the McCoy family maintained ownership of the company and the president of the company was a McCoy through 4 generations. The company continued to grow as the economy grew and was considered to be the premise manufacture of art pottery in the U.S. Even surviving a major fire in 1950, which destroyed the pottery, the plant was rebuilt and expanded several times. In 1967 the company was sold to The Mount Clemens Pottery Company and in 1974 was sold to The Lancaster Colony Corporation. In 1990 the McCoy Pottery ceased operation, but it lives on through the collectors that appreciate the art form known as "Art Pottery".”

    Frequently Asked Questions

Do we answer questions about the value or “worth” of items?

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them. Therefore, there is no way to assign something a set monetary value - in our opinion. We suggest doing an online search to find similar items and take it from there.
