Vintage Mozart Bronze Commemorative Medal - Round Re Minted Token of Classical Composer Wofgang Amadeus Mozart Ca 1960s

$15.00

Sorry, this item has sold.

Vintage round Bronze Mozart Commemorative Medal with the cast for this medal made by the artist A Hartig. The round medal has a 3" diameter and is plain on the back side. The front side features the bust of Mozart and the words W. A. MOZART, 1756-1791. This medal was originally cast in the 1920s, but I believe this is a re-mint that was done in the mid century, circa 1960s.

There is some patina and discoloration - see photos for detail.

Measures 3” in diameter and is approx. 1/8” in thickness. The medal weighs 153 grams.

The medal is in nice vintage condition with no issues. Some patina and discoloration as would be expected an item of vintage age (that was not stored in an air tight package). The back shows more wear than the front side.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Do we answer questions about the value or “worth” of items?

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them. Therefore, there is no way to assign something a set monetary value - in our opinion. We suggest doing an online search to find similar items and take it from there.
