A vintage or antique art glass basket with crimped cased glass edges, a thorny textured handle, a yellow bottom and a red to orange interior. This unique basket from yesteryear has a slight heart shape with two lobes on one end and only one at the other. The handle is clear glass as is the very tip of the crimped edges. The inside has several ribs - the back or bottom has a flat surface so this does not rock when placed on a flat surface.
The shape of this glass basket or vase is unique and graceful and the colors set it on fire.
There is some chipping on the inside near one of the handles where a crack can also be seen. Item's price reflects this condition.
Measures about 7" high including the handles. This is approx. 7" across from one of the "handles" to the other, and about 7 1/2" long.
In nice vintage condition with some wear to the color near the handle where there is a crack in the glass - see photo #5.
