Vintage Etched Glass Jar w/ Lid Apothecary Jar - Etched Flowers Leaves on Panneled Candy Lidded Jar - Wedding Display Storage
Unique and beautiful etched glass vase with a top. Adorable lid with a pedestal stem, a pointed topper and great etched flowers and sprigs of leaves on this jar make this vintage glass container beautiful. The lid also has a few ribs and etched lines around the middle of this clear glass etched apothecary jar. This jar is molded glass and has a few air bubbles and lines here and there typical of vintage molded glass.
Stands 8 1/2" tall with the lid on (to the top of the knob on the lid). The base is approx. 3" across and the top opening is about 4” in diameter.
This retro jar has vertical cuts in the glass. The cuts are in the lid in the center, the base and on the body of the jar. The cuts in the glade on the body of the jar divide it into three sections.
Etching pattern in the top two sections of the body of this jar have a floral and leaf pattern. This design runs across the jar in two places - on the top edge and also below that where the etching is inside the cut vertical panels.
No chips or cracks and in nice vintage condition. There are bubbles and inclusions in the glass in various places typical of vintage pieces. Light wear commensurate with vintage age - circa 1960.
