A retro brass basket with a handle, etchings, an embossed rim and openwork on the center section. This lovely home decor piece has a round pedestal base and an embossed fruit in the very center that features pineapple, grapes, apples and other round fruits. There are 8 cut out sections around the fruits. The two largest are on either side of the thin handle. The very edge has embossed oval designs all around it. In between the lacy cut out designs and the edge, are 8 etched designs that feature flowers, leaves and a heart in the center of the etched section.
The shape of the basket itself is a rounded diamond with the handles on the 11" across section.
The basket measures approx. 10" high when the handle is up. The diamond shaped basket itself is 13" x 11".
In nice vintage condition with patina all over. Light wear especially on the handle. See photos for detail.
