Sorry, this item has sold.

A large and substantial lime green satin glass pedestal bowl made by the Indiana Glass Company. This color was called Garland Green Frosted and it is rather hard to find.

This particular bowl was referred to as a Comport, which means a bowl, usually with a base and stem, used to serve fruits, nuts or sweets.

The comport bowl has a scalloped top edge and a cluster of three raised teardrop (rounds) shapes at the bottom of each scallop and some on the stem as well.

This pedestal bowl or dish is and was made by the Indiana Glass Co.

Measures approx. 7 1/4" high. It has an 8 1/4" diameter across the top. The base has a 4" diameter.

This retro pedestal dish is quite hefty weighing in at 4 1/2 lbs. Before packaging for shipment.

In nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Some light use marks here and there commensurate with vintage age. Item's price reflects its condition.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Do we answer questions about the value or “worth” of items?

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them. Therefore, there is no way to assign something a set monetary value - in our opinion. We suggest doing an online search to find similar items and take it from there.

Just received my beautiful, green Indiana glass compote. The packaging was exceptional, and the purple tissue was a lovely touch. Thank you for the care in packing and quick delivery.
