Vintage Footed Brass Bowl - Large Heavy Round Brass Bowl w/ 3 Elephant Trunk Feet & Scalloped Rim - Retro Home Decor
Vintage heavy round brass bowl that is a real treasure! It is solid brass and has scalloped design on the top edge as well as three ornate feet on the bottom (see photos). These short pedestal feet are made in the shape of an elephant’s trunk. A wonderful retro home decor item suitable for holding faux fruit, dried arrangement or as a eye-catching piece all by itself.
The scalloped top edge, the general round shape and the decorative feet are just wonderful on this heavy vintage brass bowl. This wonderful home decor piece is rather hefty weighing in at about 4 lbs. before packaging for shipment.
This bowl measures 11" in diameter. It stands approx. 4" high.
There is a shiny surface on the bowl with some light patina and light wear commensurate with vintage age - see photos. I did not polish this bowl but it is as it was when I purchased it.
