This set of 2 matching burnished gold/bronze and brick red colored wall hangings in a shield or crest shape that were made by Dart Industries. They have a Copyright on the back and are dated 1969. The matching set of 2 wall hangings measure about 12" long by 9" wide each.
They are matching yet different wall decor pieces - a burnished gold/bronze and rust color that are very Hollywood Regency. They are identical in size and shape, but they each have a helmit with a different design on a textured rust colored background. They are then framed in ornate scrolling designs and have ornate swirly accents on the top and bottom.
One helmet features a dragon on the top and on the bottom, while the other has a sunburst and a face with flowing hair and a feathery piece on the top. See photos for detail.
Backs say COPYRIGHT MCMLIX DART MADE IN USA 7150 which dates these as 1969.
These 2 matching mid century wall hangings have hooks on the backs for hanging.

Look like brass or an aged bronze type of metal, but the material is plastic - the finish is so much like metal it fools you and is very lightweight.
Considering these are mid century items they are in good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Finish is still shiny.
