Mid Century Seltmann Weiden Monika 8" Round Covered Vegetable Casserole Bavaria - Vintage Kitchenware - Retro Serving White Ribbed Serving

Sorry, this item has sold.

A Seltmann Weiden Bavaria covered casserole in the Monika pattern. This is a great mid mod look with its clean lines and subtle striped effect on the sides. The casserole dish is white but has a very subtle vertical striping or ribbing on the sides. See the photos for my attempt to show this detail.

The casserole dish or bowl has two handles on either side with a very mod shape. The lid has a small knob on the top.

In nice vintage condition with no chips cracks - very little wear on this mid century piece.

MAKER/MARKINGS:
Signed on the bottom Seltzmann Weiden Bavaria "Monika" 8 in green.

The top opening measures 8" in diameter and is 9 1/2" across including the handles. This casserole stands 5 1/4" tall to the top of the knob on the lid.

Weighs 2 lbs. before packaging for shipment.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Do we answer questions about the value or “worth” of items?

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them. Therefore, there is no way to assign something a set monetary value - in our opinion. We suggest doing an online search to find similar items and take it from there.
