Vintage Nor-So 22K Gold Pottery Vase w/ Leaf Design - Art Deco Style Retro Home Decor

Sorry, this item has sold.

Wonderful vintage Nor-So pottery vase that has an ivory background and 22K gold trim.

The shape and two-tone color are what make this vase so unique - there is a leaf design in the off-white featured in the center of this vase - Art Deco in style.

Marked on the bottom HAND PAINTED NOR-SO Camden, ARK 22KT GOLD.

This tall retro vase is circa 1950s.

Measures 10 1/2” high. Top opening is 7” across by 3 1/4” wide.

According to Kovels, the Nor-So Art Studio was owned by Dean A. Mogle and was in business from about 1947 to 1965. He developed a method of decorating in pastel colors and often used 22 KT
GOLD for the trim. The studio was in Camden, Ark.

In nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks. The gold rim on the top and on the handle edges is in solid shape - there is really not much wear to this mid century vase and it looks great.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Do we answer questions about the value or “worth” of items?

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them. Therefore, there is no way to assign something a set monetary value - in our opinion. We suggest doing an online search to find similar items and take it from there.
