Vintage Tinted Glass Jar - Peach or Tan & Red w/ Black Band Trim - Lidded Pedestal Candy Jar - Retro Home Decor

A very different shaped glass candy jar with a lid that features wonderful colors of a peach or tan, cranberry red and black. The main body of the vase is the light amber (tan or peach) color. The top knob, band and base are the red color. There are lines of black accent trim as well.

The top is the tan/light amber colored glass with a round red knob on the top. There is a black line at the bottom of the lid.

The base is the cranberry red color. There is a ball or widened shape on the stem of the pedestal jar.

The body of the jar is the tan or peach colored glass with a thick cranberry red band near the top. There are thin lines of black above and below this red band.

Unfortunately, I am unable to find this jar to identify the maker. The lid fits loosely on this pedestal jar.

I would guess this piece is mid century.

Measures 8 1/2" high with the lid on. Without the lid, the jar section is 6 1/4" tall. The base has a 3 1/2" diameter.

In nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Some wear to the cranberry accent color trim (especially to the tip of the knob on the lid and base) commensurate with vintage age - see photo closeups.
