A great metal bird with an exaggerated long tail. This bird could be a cardinal with its characteristic head feathers but the tail is very exaggerated and goes upward from the bird's hollow body. The bird would make a great home or garden decor item by itself or if it had some faux greens coming from the hollow body.
He is a cast metal piece and has a smattering of gold, black and green paint here and there to make him look like he has patina and verdigris.
The shabby chic bird measures about 8 1/2” tall and about 8” long. He is 4” wide.
This metal bird is in nice vintage condition with lots of character!
