A pair of beautiful vintage hand painted and hand blown green art glass vases that have a classic shape and a frilled edge around the tops. I believe these retro mantle vases are circa early mid century. As this matching pair of mantle vases are hand blown glass, there is a slight variation between them - the crimped edge on one extends downward farther than the other, for example.
This set of 2 matching green glass vases are quite unique with their teal, orange and white painted flower and dotted designs on one side and a crimped frilly edge at the top. There is also a thin line painted all around the top just below the neck of each vase. Each vase has a distinct pontil on the bottom typical of hand blown glass.
Each vase measures 7 1/4" high. The diameter of the widest section is about 3 1/2“. The bases are 2 3/4" in diameter.
Both of these vases are in nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Some wear commensurate with vintage age - see photos for detail.
