This fabulous and large covered crystal Pedestal Dish features an ornate design on the bowl portions and on the lid. It is a home decor piece from Shannon Crystal in the Designs of Ireland pattern. The knob on the top of the ornately designed round lid comes to a point. The top edges of the pressed glass bowl are scalloped and the designs on the side are a fan shape.
The green label on the lid says Shannon Crystal - Designs of Ireland - 24% Lead Crystal Made in Slovakia.
The round lidded pedestal dish or jar with lid measures tall with the lid on. The top opening has a diameter. The base has a diameter.
This covered jar or pedestal dish is good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. The original green label sticker is still intact in the lid.
As this is lead crystal, it is a hefty piece weighing in at 3 1/2 lbs. before packaging for shipment.
This tall covered dish or jar would make an nice display jar or show jar for a wedding or other special event.
