Vintage Set of 6 Iridescent Wine Glasses Light Peach Color - Large Vintage Water Goblets circa 1940s - Six Tall Paneled Depression Glass
Shimmery set of six tall wine glasses that hold a very ample serving of wine. They have an iridescent finish on the very light or pale peach/yellow color that reflects rainbow colors when the light hits them. The bowls have a subtle panel all around them in a vertical design. The stems do not go straight down - they have a slight bit of thickness at the area about 1/2" below the bowl giving them a graceful shape.
Measure 6 3/4" high. The top opening is about 3" across. The base has about a 2 3/4" diameter.
The glasses hold approximate 10 ounces.
In nice vintage condition with slight surface wear as would be expected of a vintage item of this age. Slight variation of color between the glasses typical of Depression glass.
No chips or cracks - a beautiful and statuesque set of six vintage wine glasses. Could also be used as water goblets.
