Vintage Matching Vase & Trinket Dish Black Ceramic Heart Shaped w/ Two Tone Cameo on Front Circa 1950s Bed Bath Home Decor
A vintage pair of bedroom or bathroom decor pieces from the mid century that are a vase and a trinket box with a lid. These two pieces are circa mid century when many imports from Japan were popular.
The two matching pieces are made of a marbleized black colored ceramic and each one features an oval cameo on the front. The background of the ivory cameos is a two-toned black and white. All around the oval shaped cameos is a gold filigree design. This design has ornate embellishments on the top and on the sides.
The vase has two handles and a gold rim around the top.
The lidded trinket box is in a heart shape.
Measurements:
vase - 5 1/4" high x 3 1/2" wide. Top opening has a 2" diameter.
trinket dish - (heart shape) 4" x 4" and it is 1 1/4" high.
Both are in nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks. The vase is marked JAPAN on the bottom. The heart shaped trinket box has the remains of a blue sticker on the bottom that also says JAPAN.
