Vintage Porcelain Vanity Set Hand-painted Hallmarked Floral Pink & Green - 8 pc Retro Dresser Bedroom Bathroom Decor
A unique vintage 8 pc. porcelain vanity set. The feminine vanity set includes a rectangular covered box with a lid, a round lidded trinket dish and two perfume bottles with matching stoppers.
The pieces have a light, light green background and have pink/purple flowers with greenery and stems. There is some gold accent trim in various places as well. Best guess is these are mid century in age.
The bottoms are stamped Hand painted Nippon in green. Best guess for age is circa mid century when the US had many products imported from Japan .
Two of the pieces have the remains of gold foil stickers on them that say MADE IN JAPAN.
Measurements:
Large rectangular container - 6" x 41/2" x 2 1/4" high
Trinket jar - 3 1/4" diameter x 2" high
Perfume bottles with stoppers - 6" high w/ stopper in place. They are about 2 1/4" wide at widest part at the bottom
In nice retro condition. One of the stoppers has a chip under the wafer piece on the neck that can be seen upon close inspection. Item's price reflects condition. Light wear commensurate with vintage age on bottoms.
