LARGE Vintage Mod Art Glass Bowl Dish - Retro Hand Blown Abstract Leaf w/ Folded Edges Peach Glass w/ Clear Edge CRISTAL Italy Home Decor
A vintage peach or light amber colored art glass bowl that I believe is by Murano of Italy. (While it is unmarked, I have had others that were similar that were marked Murano.) The peach or light orange color has a slight iridescent quality to it.
This abstract pedestal bowl or dish on the top has a petal shape. This dish is a peach or light amber color on the petal shape but the very edges have a clear and lighter color that is about 1/2” wide. The two curled up ends of the petal shape have a textured waffle design where they are pinched together.
The one side of the petal shape on the top reaches downward with a very slight curve, while the other side has an upward direction and curl.
The shape of this glass bowl is unique and graceful with lots of movement from the turned edges - a real eye-catcher!
There are some air bubbles and bumps and depressions here and there which is typical of hand blown glass - see photos.
Measurements:
This bowl/dish is about 3" high on the shorter side and about 6 1/2" on the taller side.
The top clear petal shaped section is 16" long x 11" wide.
Weighs more than 4 lbs. before packaging for shipment - a hefty piece of art glass.
In nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks. There is light wear commensurate with vintage age. Still very stunning!
