$25.50

Sorry, this item has sold.

A vintage pair of quail that were made by the Thomas Blakemore LTD of England as indicated on the gold foil label still intact on the bottom of the baby quail. (The remains of the label are on the underside of the mama bird as well.)

This wild pair are brown on the body and brass on the head and feet areas. The eyes are glass. The body appears to be made of resin and very lifelike with feathers all over. The mother has brass feet while the baby is in a laying or resting position so there are no feet. The bottoms have brown felt on them to protect the surface they are placed upon from scratching.

Measurements:
mother - 10" x 4" and is 5" high
baby - 4 1/2" x 2 1/2" and is 1 3/4" high

They are quite a hefty pair weighing in at over 4 lbs. before packaging for shipment.

The pair are in nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Light wear commensurate with vintage age.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Do we answer questions about the value or “worth” of items?

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them. Therefore, there is no way to assign something a set monetary value - in our opinion. We suggest doing an online search to find similar items and take it from there.
