Vintage Rogers Silver plate Bowl Vintage Paul Revere Silverplate Red Enamel - Mid century Kitchen Home Decor Ca 1960s

$21.00

Sorry, this item has sold.

A great vintage Reed and Barton red enamel pedestal dish that is circa 1960s. This retro home decor item has the original sticker still in place that says "REED & BARTON, THE WORLD'S FINEST SILVERPLATE" on the bottom. Also etched into the bottom is Reed & Barton 141.

The pedestal dish has a silverplate base, stem and bottom of the dish. The top dish portion is covered in red enamel. The stem has a very decorative wafer under the plate that has ribs, leaves and dots. The stem itself has ribs and a row of dots at the top and the bottom. The base is plain with a raised row or a "tier" at about 1/2" up the bottom edge.

As I don't think this item was used very much, it is in good vintage condition with very light wear to the silver plate and the red enamel. (Overall, the enamel is in good condition especially considering the age of this pedestal dish.) Silver plate is very slightly tarnished (as shown in pictures above). I did not polish this as some folks like patina.

Measures approx. 4 1/2" high with a 7" diameter across the bowl. Base of the bowl has a 3 3/4" diameter.
