Mid Century Wood Wall Clock w/ Brass Pendulum Classic Design - Working United Electric Clock Ca 1960s Retro Home Decor
A vintage wall clock that from the mid century. It is made of wood and has a small brass pendulum on the bottom encased in glass so it can be seen moving left to right when the clock is running. There is decorative painting around the pendulum on the glass that features gold eagles on a black background. The area that is not painted is where you can see the pendulum inside. The electric wall clock has a brown cord that is about 4 1/2 ft. long.
The top part of the clock features an eight sided wood frame and a round clock face.
The face is on off-white and gold color. The numbers are in Roman numerals. There is a glass cover on the face. The center of the clock face says United as this clock was made by the United Clock Corporation.
The hands are long and have a bit of cut out embellishment in the center. There is a second hand.
This mid century wall clock is circa 1960.
The back of the clock has a hook for hanging.
Measures approximately 11" high and is about 8 1/2" wide. It is approx. 2 1/2" deep.
In nice vintage condition with some wear commensurate with vintage age - see photos for detail.
The retro United Clock Corp. clock is an electric clock that runs and keeps time.
