Vintage cat or kitten statue that is full of purrrsonality.
This appears to be made of a carved stone that is a very dark brown (almost black). This cat statue has his eyes are wide open and is looking downward. He wears a fancy collar that has three layers thick around the neck that has what looks like Egyptian letters on it. The cat's tail is curved around its feet in the front. The cat has a glossy polished finish.
This vintage cat statue/home decor item is circa 1980s.
The cat measures approx. 7 1/2" high. The base is a 5" x 4" oval shape.
Kitty weighs in at 3 1/2 lbs. before packaging for shipment- she is substantial.
This retro cat statue is in nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks. There is wear commensurate with vintage age - see photos for detail The bottom has the original dark green felt on it.
