Vintage Blue Fostoria Pedestal Bowl w/ Gold Accent Trim - Rare Retro Home Decor Unique Large Glass Centerpiece / Serving Collectible
A large and beautiful blue pedestal bowl made by Fostoria. It is a pedestal bowl with a flat bottom on the bowl section. This is also a bit wider (at the flat base of the bowl) where it flares out slightly - a most unusual shape!
The retro bowl has a gold encrusted rim edge that has a floral pattern. This gold trim, which is two-toned, is about two inches wide.
Farther down the bowl, there are two gold lines of accent trim. One line is around the edge of the bowl section before it gets to the pedestal stem and the other is around the base.
The bowl has the original tan colored sticker on the bottom that says FOSTORIA MADE IN USA. Best estimate for age is 1920-1940s.
Measures 5” high and the top has a 10” diameter.
This is a hefty piece weighing in at 3 1/4 lbs. before packaging for shipment.
This vintage glass bowl that is circa early mid century is in nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Just beautiful!
