Pair Silver Band Wine Cocktail Glasses - Two Vintage Mid century Dorothy Thorpe Style w/ Bulbous Bottom - 2 Retro Barware Drinkware Stemware

Vintage set of 2 mid century silver rimmed cocktail or wine glasses that show off the mid century style of a wide silver colored band at the top that was made famous by the Designer Dorothy Thorpe. While these are not Dorothy Thorpe glasses, they are very typical of the 1960s era. This style of cocktail drinkware with a silver trim had a resurgence of popularity as they were used on the series "Mad Men".

This pair of dainty retro cocktail glasses features a 3/4" wide silver band around the top. Both of these lightweight glasses have a unique shape with a wide rounded bottom of the bowl and a tapered top where the silver or platinum band is. They are short with the stem being only about 1" in height. The glasses are mid century - circa 1960s.

This pair of vintage glasses is in nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Such a cute couple!

Height: 4" tall

Wide bulbous section: 2 1/4" diameter

Perfect for an elegant cocktail for any other couple!

    Frequently Asked Questions

Do we answer questions about the value or “worth” of items?

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them. Therefore, there is no way to assign something a set monetary value - in our opinion. We suggest doing an online search to find similar items and take it from there.
