A striking amber glass pedestal vase or small compote made by Portieux Vallerysthal, France with the original PV France label still intact. This has a unique base that features four curled legs that have a lined pattern on them. The very ends are curled into a "C" shape. The top section has a wonderful diamond pattern all over it that features a small starburst shape in the center of each little diamond shape. At the very bottom of this short vase you can see an 8-leafed shape with jagged edges. This leaf shape is at the very base of the bowl portion so when you look in, you see the leaf pattern.
Stands 4 1/2" tall. The base pieces are 4" across in length, and the top opening is 4 1/2" in diameter.
Very light wear on this vintage jar - looks great. No markings are on the vase itself but it has the label for P.V. France on it.
Great vintage condition, with no chips or cracks. The original P.V FRANCE label is still intact on the inner bowl - see photos for detail.

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them. Therefore, there is no way to assign something a set monetary value - in our opinion. We suggest doing an online search to find similar items and take it from there.
