Vintage LARGE Metal Compass Rose Wall Hanging - Sexton Nautical Round Wall Art Retro Mid century Decor

A large metal compass rose shaped wall art piece from the mid century made by Sexton. This vintage wall hanging is.

It has some great color and the red and yellow against the brown work well. The areas are accented by black trim paint and gold swirled or curled arrow-like flourishes.

There was a hook for hanging on the top back of this large metal plaque but it has broken off. A piece of wire is strung through the former hook piece to be used for hanging on the wall.

This large metal wall decor item is stamped SEXTON USA on the back.

The retro wall hanging measures 13" inches. It is about 1 3/4" in thickness.

It is in nice vintage condition with lots of wear, fading and chipping of paint commensurate with vintage age - see photos for detail. Make it a great shabby chic piece!

    Frequently Asked Questions

Do we answer questions about the value or “worth” of items?

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them. Therefore, there is no way to assign something a set monetary value - in our opinion. We suggest doing an online search to find similar items and take it from there.
